Which devices does the app run on?
Apple TV (4th gen+), Fire TV, Google TV / Chromecast, Samsung Tizen TVs (2019+), LG webOS TVs (2019+), iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, any modern browser. One login, every screen. We don't ship a cable box and never will.
Do I need FibreTel internet to get FibreTel TV?
Technically the app works over any internet. Practically, we only sell TV to FibreTel customers — running our TV product over someone else's 100 Mbps cable connection isn't the experience we want our name on.
Can I add just one channel?
Yes. Some channels are sold individually, others live inside packs. The builder at signup (and in MyAccount) shows both paths, with live prices, so you can find the cheapest way to get the channel you care about.
Can I record two shows at once?
Record everything airing at 8 PM Tuesday if you want. Cloud recording, no tuner limit. No 'PVR is full' message, ever — the recordings live on our servers, not a box in your living room.
Does it have Netflix / Crave / Disney+?
TV is live linear channels + cloud recording — it replaces your cable box, not Netflix. We do offer Crave as an add-on so you can keep it on one bill. Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Apple TV+ stay in their own apps on the same device.
What about 4K sports?
NHL games in 4K, NFL games in 4K, and a growing list of channels in 4K. You need a 4K TV and a 4K app device (Apple TV 4K, Fire TV 4K, the usual list). Any TV from the last five years qualifies.
Can my kids watch on their iPad while I watch on the TV?
Yes. Multiple simultaneous streams per household — exact number depends on the plan, but every plan supports more than a typical family will use at once. Each person can log in on their own devices.
How does Restart work?
Tune into a show halfway through, hit Restart, jumps back to the beginning. Works on most channels for the past 48 hours.
What's the catch with the free months?
No catch. Essential TV is free for the intro period shown on the plan card, then rolls to the regular price. Cancel any time — no contract on any FibreTel product. Everything TV runs the same shape: intro price first, regular price after.
