What this is
Before FibreTel can install fibre in a multi-dwelling unit (an apartment building, condo tower, or townhouse complex), we sign a Building Access Agreement with the property owner or management company. The agreement covers where our fibre runs inside the building, how we coordinate with concierge and building staff, what happens to the cabling if FibreTel ever exits the building, and the standard tenant protections we commit to (no damage, no surprise fees, no blocking other carriers).
Canadian regulations require every facilities-based carrier to publish these agreements, and this page is where we do that. If you’re a FibreTel customer in a building on the list below, you can read the exact terms we agreed to.
What we don’t sign
- Exclusivity clauses. FibreTel never asks a building to pick us as their only carrier. Another ISP can always sign their own agreement with the same building.
- Tenant-charging schemes. We don’t pay buildings a per-unit kickback that they pass through to rent. You pay for your FibreTel service; FibreTel pays for building access; the two don’t mix.
- Permanent cabling abandonment. If we ever leave, we remove or properly cap our cabling so the building isn’t left with orphan infrastructure in the risers.

FibreTel is new. The first agreements will land here the moment they’re signed. If you’re a building owner or property manager interested in bringing FibreTel into your building, reach out at fibretel.ca/contact and we’ll walk you through the process.
