  • When does my FibreTel TV subscription start?

    If you’re not already an Internet Customer, your subscription starts as soon as the service installation is completed. If you are part of the FibreTel family already, the subscription will start immediately.

  • Do I need a set-top box for FibreTel TV?

    Nope. We’ve moved on. Steve still has three stacked on top of his VCR «just in case.».

    FibreTel TV is app-based, so it works seamlessly on most smart TVs, including Google TV, LG, Samsung, Apple TV, and Amazon Firestick. If your TV isn’t smart, we’ll install a smart TV device for you—problem solved! 

  • What happens if I don’t have a smart TV?

    No worries! We’ll hook you up with a smart TV device so you can enjoy FibreTel TV’s full app-based experience. It’s our way of saying, “Welcome to the future.” 

  • Can I record shows to watch later?

    Of course. But don’t tell Steve — he still rushes home for “live television.” 

  • Can I watch FibreTel TV on multiple devices?

    Absolutely! Stream on multiple TVs, tablets, or even your phone. Your binge-watching knows no boundaries. 

  • Is FibreTel TV in HD and 4K?

    You bet! Enjoy stunning HD and glorious 4K resolution on compatible devices. It’s like having a cinema in your living room—minus the overpriced popcorn. 

    Steve once said, “What’s wrong with standard def?” That’s when we knew we couldn’t save him. 

  • What channels do I get?

    All the good ones. Plus a few Steve doesn’t know exist because he still checks TV listings in the newspaper. Trust us, there’s something for everyone, even your weird uncle who only watches fishing documentaries. 

  • How do I restart a show I missed?

    Our Restart TV feature lets you jump back to the beginning of a live show with a simple click. No time machines required. 

  • Can I access On Demand content with FibreTel TV

    Yes! Our On Demand library is packed with movies, shows, and more, ready to stream whenever you are. Think of it as a buffet, but for your eyeballs. 

  • Is FibreTel TV really that easy to set up?

    It’s easier than assembling IKEA furniture. Install the app on your smart TV, and you’re good to go. If you need help, our tech team will make sure you’re up and running in no time. 

  • How do I cancel a Subscription?

    No need to call us. You can cancel your subscription at any time in the My Account section to stop the renewal at your next billing date. Once cancelled, you will continue to receive your subscription services until your next billing date.

    If you change your mind, you can always renew your subscription.

  • What happens if I cancel my old provider?

    You become better than Steve. And probably more attractive. Science hasn’t disproven it. 

Residential Voice

  • Can multiple people receive the enterphone call?

    Yes. With Enterphone Connect you can set the system to ring more than one phone, so roommates or family members can all answer.

  • Is there an app I need to install for Enterphone Connect?

    No app is required. Enterphone calls come through just like a normal phone call. It’s simple and seamless. 

  • Do I need a landline for Enterphone Connect to work?

    No landline required. Enterphone Connect is all digital, so you can ditch the old copper wires. 

  • Can I connect my buzzer to my mobile phone?

    Yes. Our Enterphone Connect service allows enterphone calls to be forwarded to your mobile device, or multiple devices, so you can buzz people in from anywhere. 

  • Can I keep my existing phone number?

    Absolutely! We’ll help you transfer your current number to Residential Voice. No need to memorize a new one! 

  • Does Residential Voice work with my existing home phones?

    Yes, your current home phones will work seamlessly with our service. Just plug them in, and you’re all set. 

  • Can I use cordless phones with Residential Voice?

    Of course! Your cordless phones work perfectly with our system. It’s all about keeping things simple and convenient. 

  • Are there any hidden fees?

    Nope! With us, what you see is what you get. Unlimited calls, one low price, and zero surprises on your bill. 

  • What if Steve tries to borrow my phone when his goes down?

    Kindly remind him this is FibreTel. Not a community resource center. 

  • How is the voice quality?

    Crystal-clear! Residential Voice offers premium call quality, so every word is as sharp as your wit. 

  • Is international calling available?

    At the moment, our unlimited plan covers the U.S. and Canada only. For now, you’ll just have to send postcards to friends overseas. 

  • Do I need any special equipment for Residential Voice?

    No extra gadgets needed! Our team professionally installs the service, so you’re ready to go without any hassle. 

  • Is Residential Voice reliable during power outages?

    Residential Voice requires power to operate, so it won’t work during a power outage. We recommend keeping a mobile phone handy as a backup for emergencies. 

  • Does FibreTel Voice include emotional support for dealing with Steve?

    Not officially. But blocking his number is pretty therapeutic. 

  • Will blocking Steve’s number hurt his feelings?

    Maybe. But your peace of mind is worth it. And honestly, he had it coming. 

Business Voice

  • Can I keep my existing business phone number?

    Yes! We’ll transfer your current number to Business Voice, so your customers can keep calling without interruption. 

  • Do I need special equipment for Business Voice?

    Not at all! Our team professionally installs the service and connects it to your existing wiring, so all your phone jacks are ready to go. 

  • Does Business Voice support multiple lines?

    At the moment, we support one line per business. We’re always working on expanding our services, so stay tuned for updates! 

  • What areas are covered with unlimited calling?

    Unlimited calling covers the U.S. and Canada—perfect for staying connected with your customers and partners across North America. At the moment, we do not offer international calling.

  • How is the call quality?

    Crystal-clear, because we know dropped calls and muffled voices aren’t good for business. 

  • Are there any hidden fees?

    Our techs will have you set up and running within 30-45 minutes. Quick and painless, just the way it should be. 

  • Will my existing phones work with Business Voice?

    Absolutely! Your current phones will work seamlessly with our system—no need to replace your equipment. 

  • Will Business Voice work during a power outage?

    No, Business Voice requires power to operate. We recommend keeping a mobile phone handy as a backup for emergency situations. 

  • What if my receptionist is Jessica?

    That’s a personnel issue. We only handle the phones.

  • Are all FibreTel plans on the same network?

    Yes and no—and that’s a good thing.

    All our plans connect to the same rock-solid core network, but the pipe to your home depends on the plan you choose. Our 10 Gbps plans run on XGS-PON, a next-gen fibre technology with way more headroom for speed and stability—even during peak usage times.

    Our lower-tier plans use GPON, which is still fast and reliable, but shares more bandwidth among nearby customers. If you want zero slowdowns, more speed, and room to grow, a 10 Gbps plan is the move. 

  • Are there contracts, data caps, or throttling?

    No, no, and definitely no.

    We don’t believe in punishing customers with fine print. There are no contracts to lock you in, no hidden usage caps, and no throttling—even during peak hours. Use what you pay for, anytime. 

  • Do I need special equipment to get 10 Gbps?
