How to Use Common Star Codes

What Are Star Codes? #

Star codes (* codes) are quick shortcuts you can use on your phone to activate or deactivate specific calling features. These codes let you manage your Residential Voice service easily and efficiently.

Common Star Codes and What They Do #

1. Call Forwarding
   • Activate: Dial *72, then enter the number where you want calls forwarded.
   • Deactivate: Dial *73.
2. Do Not Disturb
   • Activate: Dial *78 to send all incoming calls directly to voicemail.
   • Deactivate: Dial *79.
3. Caller ID Blocking (Per Call)
   • Block: Dial *67, then enter the phone number you’re calling to block your Caller ID.
   • Unblock: Dial *82 before the number to show your Caller ID.
4. Call Waiting
   • Turn Off (Temporarily): Dial *70, then place your call. Call Waiting will be disabled for that call only.
5. Last Call Return
   • Dial *69 to call back the last number that called you.
6. Anonymous Call Blocking
   • Activate: Dial *77 to block calls from numbers with blocked Caller ID.
   • Deactivate: Dial *87.

How to Use Star Codes #
