Using Call Waiting

What Is Call Waiting? #

Call Waiting lets you know when someone else is calling while you’re already on the line. With this feature, you can switch between calls without disconnecting the first caller.

How to Use Call Waiting #

1. Answer the Second Call:
   • When you hear a beep indicating a second call, press the flash button or the switch hook on your phone to answer it.
   • Your first call will automatically be placed on hold.
2. Switch Back to the First Call:
   • Press the flash button or switch hook again to return to the first call.
3. End One Call:
   • To hang up on the current call and return to the other, simply hang up the phone and wait for the remaining call to ring back.

How to Temporarily Disable Call Waiting #

• If you don’t want to be interrupted during a call:
  • Dial *70 before placing the call.
  • Call Waiting will be disabled for that call only.

Pro Tips for Call Waiting #

• Frequent Callers: If you don’t want to miss calls from important people, keep Call Waiting enabled.
• Avoid Interruptions: Use *70 when making sensitive or important calls.
• Troubleshooting: If Call Waiting isn’t working as expected, contact support for assistance.
