Call Transfer allows you to redirect an active call to another number. It’s perfect for passing a call to someone else or redirecting it to another line.
How to Use Call Transfer #
- Put the Call on Hold:
- While on the call, press the flash button or quickly tap the switch hook to put the caller on hold.
- Dial the Number You Want to Transfer To:
- Enter the phone number where you want to transfer the call.
- Complete the Transfer:
- Once the second party answers, you can hang up to complete the transfer.
- Announce the Transfer (Optional):
- Before hanging up, let the second party know about the transfer if needed.
Pro Tips for Call Transfer #
- Be Polite: Announce the transfer to the receiving party for a smoother experience.
- Reconnection: If the second party doesn’t answer, press the flash button to return to the original call.
