How Do I Set Up FibreTel TV for the First Time?

Getting Started with FibreTel TV #

  1. Download the App:
    • Install the FibreTel TV app on your device:
      • For Smart TVs and streaming devices: Search for FibreTel TV in your device’s app store.
      • For mobile devices: Download the app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
      • For web access: Visit tv.fibretel.ca.
  2. Log In with Your Credentials:
    • Use your account number as the username.
    • Retrieve your TV service password from the FibreTel TV section of the My Account portal.
  3. Set Up Profiles (Optional):
    • After logging in, create personalized profiles for family members to enhance their viewing experience.
  4. Start Watching:
    • Explore live TV, On Demand content, or your personal Cloud PVR library.

If You Ordered FibreTel TV with Internet Installation #

  • Tech Wizard Assistance:
    • If you have a TV available during the installation, our tech wizards will set up the app and connect the service for you.
  • Dongle Installation:
    • If your TV does not support the FibreTel TV app, our tech wizards will verify this during installation.
    • If verified, we will provide and install a Google TV dongle, but only if the TV is present at the time of installation.

Adding FibreTel TV Later #

  • No Additional Installation Required:
    • If you decide to add FibreTel TV after your internet is set up, the service can be immediately provisioned without needing another visit.
  • Need Help?
    • If you prefer, we can send a tech wizard to assist with setup—no charge!
