Parental controls on FibreTel TV let you manage what content is accessible on different profiles, ensuring a safe and age-appropriate viewing experience for your family.
How to Set Up and Adjust Parental Controls #
- Enable Parental Controls During Profile Creation:
- When creating a new profile, enter the user’s year of birth to set automatic content restrictions based on their age.
- Toggle Parental Controls On to enable restrictions.
- Adjust Parental Control Settings:
- With the profile you want restricted selected, click the gear icon and choose Parental Control from the menu.
- You’ll be prompted to select an adult profile and enter its PIN to unlock the parental control settings.
- Customize Restrictions:
- By default, adult content is disabled, but unrated TV shows and movies are allowed.
- For tighter control, change these settings to Request PIN. Any restricted content will then require the adult profile’s PIN to unlock and view.
