What Are Profiles? #
Profiles let each family member have their own personalized TV experience. With separate profiles, everyone can enjoy tailored recommendations, track their own watch history, and manage favorite channels—all without stepping on each other’s preferences.
How to Create Profiles #
- Access the Profiles Section:
- Open the FibreTel TV app and click the user icon in the top right corner (next to the gear icon).
- Add a New Profile:
- Click Add New to start creating a profile.
- Enter the year of birth to set the user’s age and toggle Parental Controls on or off.
- Parental Controls will automatically adjust based on the age entered.
- Protect the Profile (Optional):
- Enable Protect Profile with PIN if you want to restrict access to this profile.
- Example: Use a PIN to lock an unrestricted profile if you want to control access to adult programming.
- Set Preferences:
- Choose the interface language, subtitle language, and audio language for the profile.
- Complete Setup:
- Click Next to finalize the settings, and you’re all set!
Managing Profiles #
- Switching Profiles: Click the user icon in the top right and select the desired profile from the list.
- Editing Profiles: Update details like age, language settings, or PIN from the Profiles section in settings.
- Deleting Profiles: Select the profile you want to remove, click Delete Profile, and confirm your choice.

- Use Age Settings Smartly: Entering the correct birth year helps automate Parental Controls.
- Pin-Protect for Privacy: Lock profiles with a PIN to ensure restricted content stays restricted.
