We'll buy out your current contract with Shaw, Telus or other providers!
FibreTel will reimburse 10 Gig Fibre Internet customers for an early terminationfee (ETF) of their current Internet contract in the form of an account credit. A copy of the final bill from a previous provider, with early termination fees clearly marked, and the completed ‘FibreTel Contract Buyout Form’ are required to qualify for the contact buyout program.
Customer will receive reimbursement via a contract buyout credit applied to their account for the amount of the contract buyout. Credit amount will be determined by the early termination fee excluding taxes on the final bill from the previous provider. A copy of the final bill from a previous provider, with early termination fees clearly marked, and the completed ‘FibreTel Contract Buyout Form’ are required to qualify for the contact buyout program. Buyout form must be submitted within first 60 days of service installation. Credit will be applied after the first 30 days of service. Credit has no cash value and is non-transferrable.
Limited time offer; valid to qualified residential customers who have not previously subscribed to any services with FibreTel. Buyout Offer Promotion is not compatible with any other promotional offer such as introductionary rates or referral credits. If the customer is on an introductionary promotion rate plan, standard rates will apply after the credit is applied to the account. Any promotional credits already issued to the account will be deducted from the contract buyout credit amount.
The Early Termination Fee from the previous provider must be for the same type of services ordered from FibreTel to quality. For example, if switching from a TV and Internet bundle with your previous provider, you must order a qualifying TV and Internet bundle from FibreTel. Credit applies only to the Early Termination Fee and not to hardware or other charges from your previous provider. The name on the account with your previous provider must be the same as your account with FibreTel.
An amount equal to the contract buyout credit applied to your account will be added on your account as an ETF Rebate Balance. The ETF Rebate Balance amount will be reduced by $20 for each month of service with FibreTel while maintaining a qualifying service plan. In the event that you cancel your services with FibreTel or change to a non-qualifying plan, the remaining ETF Rebate Balance will be due as a fee to FibreTel and added to your next bill. For example, if your contract buyout is $240 and you cancel
your service after 12 months, the remainder of your ETF Rebate Balance is $120 and it will be added to your final bill as a fee.
FibreTel reserves the right to deny or refuse this promotion for any reason as its sole determination.
